Our 2016 UK Tour commences

Today is the last day of rehearsals and tomorrow our talented Cast leave Bristol and head for Cumbria. The opening shows at Appleby Castle run throughout the weekend (Friday to Sunday) – tickets are still available or you can pay on the door.

The following weekend we perform at the Bristol Shakespeare Festival (Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd July) before embarking on our full UK Tour.

Capulets & Montagues at Herstmonceux Castle

We will be performing Romeo & Juliet at the magnificent Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex (5pm Sunday 24th July). What a fabulous venue to see the Capulets and Montagues brawling in the Castle’s Inner Courtyard. Tickets are on sale!

Seeking additional venues for 2016 tour

Another successful tour completed and time to thank our appreciative audiences and the magnificent venues, our talented Cast & director Ed Viney, stage manager Benedict Jones, James Helps at Bristol Costume Services and everyone who provided services to the Company.

In 2016, we will be performing Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Romeo & Juliet and much-loved comedy As You Like It.

We are currently planning our 2016 tour and seeking additional venues - both in the UK and internationally.

Our 2015 Cast

2015 cast

It’s always a great thrill to welcome new members to the Cast of GB Theatre Company. This year we are joined by (surnames in alphabetic order) Joseph Black, Alex Gartshore, Jennifer Higham, Vincenzo Pellegrino, Rebecca Wingate and Chris Yapp.

It’s also a huge delight to welcome back some of the incredible actors from previous tours. Anyone who saw last year’s tour will recognise Philippa Howard, Jenny Johns, Madeleine Leslay & Barrie Palmer. The shows are once again directed by the brilliant Ed Viney and our stage manager is Benedict Jones.

We can now announce that GB Theatre Company will be performing two of William Shakespeare’s finest comedies – Twelfth Night and Much Ado About Nothing.
